A couple of months back myself and a few other friends flew out to South Africa, Johannesburg in order to shoot a documentary following the lives of two informal recyclers. During the 12 or so days we spent shooting, we visited a handful of places - some being in apparently very 'rough' areas of the city, some being not so bad. Overall the trip was absolutely incredible, easily one of the coolest places I've had the chance of visiting, people were friendly/welcoming and the food was pretty solid, even for a vegetarian. Below is a collection of photos I took throughout the trip on my Pentax K1000 (35mm camera). Unfortunately one roll of film didn't make it through processing, so 30-odd photos were never developed.
